LejeScanner is a Danish search platform for rental homes. We collect and structure current listings from more than 50 different landlords and rental sources, allowing you to search, filter and compare homes in one place. LejeScanner is not a landlord or estate agent, and any rental agreement is entered into directly with the landlord.

You avoid repeating the same search across many different websites. LejeScanner brings homes from more than 50 landlords and sources into one catalogue with consistent filters and shows where each listing originally came from. This makes it easier to compare homes, organise favourites and react quickly through saved searches. LejeScanner does not provide listings before anyone else, but helps you discover them faster after they are published at the source. We cannot guarantee that every rental in Denmark appears on the platform.

Listing data comes from publicly available advertisements from Danish landlords, property managers, housing organisations and rental portals. We update the catalogue regularly and link paying users to the original listing where available. The original source always determines the final price, availability and terms.

We check and update listings regularly, but a home may have been reserved or rented at the source before that change reaches LejeScanner. On each property, we therefore show when we last recorded it as available from the landlord or source. This timestamp is an observation, not a guarantee of continued availability. Always confirm status, price, address and terms in the original listing before applying or making a payment.

Select Sign up, enter your email address and a password, and follow the confirmation shown on screen or sent to your inbox. A free profile includes search and favourites; paid features are only activated if you choose a subscription.

Open the login page, select Forgot password and enter the email address used for your account. Follow the link in the reset email. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive, and contact support if the link has expired or is still missing.

Check your email address and password first, then try resetting the password. Use the same email address you used when signing up or paying. If the problem continues, contact support@LejeScanner.dk without sending your password or card details.

With a free profile, you can search current rentals, use the filters, see photos, price, size, rooms and area, and save favourites. Original listing links, complete addresses, the time when we first found a home and active rental alerts require a paid subscription.

You can search one or more cities or postcodes and filter by rent, rooms, size, property type, move-in date, floor and amenities such as balcony, lift, parking and pets. Try a wider area or fewer filters if you receive very few results.

Favourites help you collect homes you want to revisit. With an active subscription, you can also save up to 10 searches and receive new matches by email daily, weekly or monthly. An alert tells you about new matches but does not guarantee that the home is still available when you open it.

LejeScanner's latest duration statistics show an observed median of 13 days across Denmark, 10 days in Aarhus, 11 days in Odense and 14 days in Copenhagen. The national figure is based on 7,250 completed listing observations from the past 180 days. Popular homes may disappear faster than the median, so have your information ready, use rental alerts and check the original listing quickly. The figures measure the time from when LejeScanner first sees a listing until it is no longer available from the sources we monitor; a removed listing was not necessarily let. The date shows when LejeScanner first recorded the home at the relevant landlord or source. It is not necessarily the property's official publication date and does not by itself confirm that the home is still available.

Open the home you are interested in and review the details. With an active subscription, you can open the property link and original listing where available. Continue at the landlord or source and use the contact or application option shown there. You may be asked to create an account or sign in at the source. LejeScanner does not send the enquiry for you and is not part of the conversation. Briefly introduce yourself, say who will live in the home, what you do, your preferred move-in date and why the home suits you. Ask clear questions and request a viewing, but do not send sensitive documents until you have verified the recipient.

Complete addresses, property links and original sources require an active subscription and are only shown where the information is available from the source. Check that you are signed in to the account connected to the subscription. If access is still missing, email support@LejeScanner.dk with the property link.

Response time depends on the landlord, the home and demand, and LejeScanner cannot guarantee a reply. First confirm that you completed the contact process in the original listing. If the source permits it, send one short and polite follow-up, while continuing your search and rental alerts so you are not dependent on one home.

You can choose daily, weekly or monthly notifications. Daily alerts are processed after ongoing scans, weekly notifications are sent on Sunday and monthly notifications on the first day of the month. Delivery times may vary, and an alert does not guarantee that a home is still available.

Check that your subscription and saved search are active, that you have accepted email notifications and that the search is not paused. Also check spam and promotions folders. A notification is only sent when LejeScanner finds new homes matching your criteria; try broader filters if there are no matches.

Open My searches. You can edit the criteria and frequency, pause a saved search or delete it. You can have up to 10 active saved searches at the same time.

A landlord may change the price, address, terms or availability after LejeScanner records a listing. Our catalogue and the source may therefore differ briefly. The original listing always takes precedence; contact support with the property link if a difference remains.

The landlord sets the requirements, which may include identification, proof of income or study and household information. Only follow requirements from the verified original listing, and do not share a Danish CPR number, MitID information or other sensitive documents until you have verified the recipient and purpose.

A free profile costs 0 DKK. Paid access is available as a 72-hour introduction for 9 DKK, which automatically continues as 28-day access for 289 DKK unless cancelled before the 72 hours expire. You can also choose 28-day access directly for 289 DKK; it renews for further 28-day periods until cancelled.

Yes. Both paid options are automatically renewing subscriptions. The introductory subscription continues after 72 hours as 28 days for 289 DKK, and the 28-day subscription renews every 28 days. Renewal and the next price are shown before payment.

Payment, card details, receipts and invoices are handled securely by Stripe. LejeScanner does not store your card number or card security code. You can view invoices and change your payment method through Stripe's billing portal from your profile.

Log in, open your profile and select "Manage my subscription". From there, open Stripe's billing portal and stop automatic renewal. You normally retain access until the end of the period already paid for. Cancel before the introductory or current 28-day period expires if you want to avoid the next payment.

The introductory subscription continues after 72 hours unless you cancel before it expires. A standard subscription renews every 28 days. You can see the current period and upcoming payment in Stripe's billing portal, opened from your profile.

Open your profile, select Manage my subscription and continue to Stripe's billing portal. There you can view and download available invoices and receipts and manage your payment method.

Stripe may retry the payment or ask you to update your payment method. Your paid access may be restricted or paused until payment is completed. Open the billing portal from your profile or contact support if you are unsure about the status.

LejeScanner does not offer a standard subscription pause. You can instead cancel automatic renewal and normally retain access until the paid period ends. You can purchase access again later. Saved searches can be paused separately.

Yes. LejeScanner is operated by Lejescaner ApS, Danish company registration number 46573145, and provides a Danish rental search and subscription service. Prices and automatic renewal are shown before payment, payments are processed by Stripe, and subscriptions can be managed from your profile. LejeScanner is not a landlord and cannot guarantee a home or a landlord response.

LejeScanner normally sends you to the landlord's or source's original listing. Contact, viewings, document sharing, contracts and payments take place outside LejeScanner. Always verify the domain, the landlord's identity and the rental agreement before sharing sensitive information or paying.

Be cautious about prices far below the market, pressure to pay quickly, no viewing and payments to someone other than the landlord named in the contract. View the home, verify the landlord and original listing, read the contract and use a traceable payment method. Never pay a deposit or prepaid rent based only on a message.

Check the information at the original source first. If a home appears incorrect, expired or suspicious, contact support@LejeScanner.dk with the property link and a short explanation. We can investigate the data source and hide or correct the listing, but questions about the tenancy itself must be directed to the landlord.

Email support@LejeScanner.dk with questions about your account, payment, subscription, listing data or privacy. We normally respond within 1-2 business days. Do not send card details, MitID credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information by email.

LejeScanner sends necessary service emails about matters such as your account, access, payment, subscription and important operational changes. If you activate rental alerts, you may also receive new matches. Offers, news and other marketing are only sent when you have consented.

You can withdraw marketing consent through the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or in your profile settings. Necessary service emails about your account, security and payment may continue. LejeScanner currently uses the same email consent for marketing and rental alerts, so full withdrawal also stops alert emails; individual saved searches can also be managed under My searches.

You choose analytics and marketing cookies in the cookie banner settings. You can later withdraw consent by removing LejeScanner cookies in your browser's site settings and choosing again when the banner reappears. Necessary cookies for functions such as login, security and payment cannot be deselected in the banner. The Cookie settings page explains the categories and their purposes.
